| After graduating from SUNY
Potsdam and teaching public school music for several years, his son Joseph
took over the business in 1966.
Together with his wife and business partner Sandra, he transformed the company into one of the largest music chains in the New York area, with five stores in Nassau and Suffolk. |

| In 1990, Sandra retired and
Joseph began performing on the clarinet in several professional
orchestras.
The four branch stores were sold and Kathleen Masem-Zguris, who has been with the business since 1970, became a partner and currently runs all aspects of the business. |
