

Learn to Play Your Favorite Instrument Today!
We offer expert music lessons in a wide variety of instruments from guitar and voice to piano, drums, and even banjo! Each lesson is taken once a week in 30 minute segments with a teacher in your own private lesson room. Lessons are given Monday through Saturday with flexible hours to fit into anyone's busy schedule!
Every one of our teachers are NYSSMA certified, active in the musical community, and experienced in their field. All lessons are $28.00 per half hour. Hour lessons are also available by request.

Jenn
Jenn Torre has been playing violin for the past 36 years. She graduated from Stony brook University with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance. She has been teaching beginner through advanced violin, viola, and cello and has also been teaching beginner bass here at Family Melody for the past 26 years. Jenn prepares students for NYSSMA, SCMEA, LISFA, concerts, and recitals. Jenn teaches classical through today's music. Jenn has also been Concert Master for the Bay Area Friends of the Fine Arts (BAFFA) symphony orchestra for the past 10 years. She makes learning your child's instrument fun and entertaining.

Robin
Robin Marasia has a Masters from StonyBrook University, and BA from St. Joseph's College. She graduated from East Islip High School.
Robin has been playing violin for approximately 35 years and teaching violin for more than 20 years. She has experience with LI String Festival, NYSSMA, SCMEA, All County, All State and college auditions. Robin presently teaches adults and children; beginners to advanced level.

Jun
Jun Xing is a NYSSMA adjudicator that has been a private instructor for many years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts - Music from Stony Brook University.

Natalia
Natalia Layne has attended Suffolk County Community College and Stony Brook. She is currently enrolled at Nassau. Natalia also happens to be NYSSMA qualified. She is happy to share her love of music with students of all ages.

Michael Roussinos is attending Hofstra University for Music Education B.A.S. He is passionate about teaching and mentoring student musicians for the Sachem East Drama Department. Michael is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere. In addition, he is NYSSMA qualified.

Katerina
Katerina Dono is a highly talented Eastport-South Manor High School senior that comes to us motivated to teach. She is first chair at SCMEA since 2017. Katerina has awards from SCMEA and LISFA. She is also NYSSMA qualified.
